Scholarship Program Guidelines

  • Scholarship funds are setup to be rewarded in an objective and non-discriminatory manner.
  • Scholarships cannot be earmarked for an individual recipient.
  • Scholarships will not be awarded to an officer, manager or trustee of Infinity Giving Works.
  • Scholarship awards are determined by a set list of criteria, and final selections are determined by the award committee.

Award Criteria

The most common way to award students money for education is through a scholarship program. Programs vary in size, number or awards, and award recurrence. Small, local programs typically offer awards of $1,000 or greater. Award amounts for larger, national programs generally range from $1,000-$25,000. Scholarship funds are typically awarded to 1-10 applicants.

Types of Scholarships

Scholarship funds awarded based on academic-based criteria; for example, earning a certain GPA or achieving a specified test score.

Selection criteria can be based on a broad range of factors including anticipated field of study, hobbies, demonstrated leadership experience, etc.

Funds are awarded based on degree of community involvement or amount of volunteer hours completed.
